Try the below quick troubleshooting first.
- use a dryer to thoroughly blow the air inlet at the bottom(especially if you have washed your device before)
- clean the round ultrasonic disc inside the water tank with a dry clean cloth.
- do not place things under your device base, especially on a carpet or towels. Make sure to always place your unit on a smooth countertop rather than the floor.

Essential oil residue builds up on your device.After using essential oils, please thoroughly clean your device by following these steps:-wash the tank with warm water added with diluted vinegar-use a clean cotton pad to wipe the round disc of the tank-clean the water tank again and wipe the device with a dry soft cloth or cotton pad(especially the part where the lid contacts the device)

No. You can add water to the tank and drop essential oil into the water. But never add only essential oils, nor add other liquids or disinfectant powders. Doing so will shorten its lifespan.

Usually, 2-3 drops of essential oil can be added per 100ml of water, and 5-8 drops of essential oil can be added per 500ml of water. Considering that different people have different sensitivities to smell, you can continue to increase essential oil drops or mix essential oils as needed.

Try the below quick troubleshooting first.
-remove all things placed in the tank before using it. Only leave water in the tank.
-do not overfill the tank with water. Overfilling will cause leaking.
-do not place your device on a carpet or place any towels or paper under the device.
-place the device far away from any vent of the indoor ventilation system. The ventilation system will cause extra humidity and result in water condensation on the table.
